A semi-refined kettle fining agent derived from Eucheuma cottonii. It is negatively charged to attract positively charged proteins, leading to improved trub compaction, enhanced beer clarity & longer filter runs.
Usage: Add 1/2 tablet in last 5 minutes of the boil for 5-7 gallons to aid in wort clarification. Works to clump suspended matter in the boil, similar to Irish Moss. Great for all beer styles where clarity is important. Pre-measured and fully dissolvable for professionally clean looking beers.
